"I could save the world, but lose you."

Almost as soon as I heard this track from the newest Jimmy Eat World CD, I knew I had to vid it. I thought the song was absolutely perfect for Doctor/Rose, but I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I initially had no idea that I was going to go AU with it, but somehow, in two days, two-thirds of the vid just came pouring out.

And goodness, I missed vidding Doctor/Rose. The last pure D/R vid I did was back in May. MAY!

This is yet another vid to a Yoko Kanno song. It's instrumental again, but it's an orchestral piece originally heard at the very end of the Vision of Escaflowne anime series. That scene made me cry the first time I saw it years ago, and if you're interested, someone posted it at YouTube. I literally cried again doing this vid. *weep*

This is my first music vid ever, originally posted at Terra Firma. I wanted to do a trial vid with the trial version of Ulead that I downloaded last night. At first, I was going to use a longer song with lyrics using scenes from Dog With Two Bones, but I didn't have the patience to finish that. Instead, I chose one of the shortest mp3s in my collection, an instrumental piece less than 1 min. 30 sec, and I used clips I had already made. Doing this vid drove me nuts trying to get all the clips to fit right with the music. I'm sure I'd go even more insane trying a longer song. After this, I'm even more impressed by people who do vids on a regular basis.
