The honeybees that pollinate its $21 billion bounty of almonds, avocados, berries, melons and other produce that make it the nation's farming giant are disappearing from an unexplained cause.

I love it when I turn on the TV and find Doctor Who on, even if I've already seen it all. Plus, this is PBS, so it's unedited. w00t!

Watch this D/R vid by  raspberry_splat. It's been a long time since I've cried watching a vid, but this one is worth all the heartache, with both the world of Doctor Who, and all the troubles Ras went through to make this.

Ras layers her videos in a way that no one else can. She brings out such a depth to the Doctor and Rose, that you can just feel every ounce of emotion she puts into her vids. And no one vids Nine like Ras. For anyone who's ever doubted that the Doctor loves Rose, this vid is one that leaves no doubt.

I  just knew there was a reason that the ending of "Fear Her" bothered me a bit. And in speaking with jagwriter78, I figured out why. Edible ball bearings have been banned in California, because they're toxic. Only you have to eat like a gazillion of them for it to matter. I remembered reading this article, but I didn't realize this happened way back in 2003! If you live in California, you can't even buy these dragées as they're also known off the Internet, because no one will ship them to a California address.

Stupid freaking lawsuit-happy lawyer just had go to go ruin holiday fun for everyone. Now how else am I gonna build my Dalek cupcake army, huh?

I now have something good to think about while I'm in 6 hours of lecture today. Yup!

"I could save the world, but lose you."

Almost as soon as I heard this track from the newest Jimmy Eat World CD, I knew I had to vid it. I thought the song was absolutely perfect for Doctor/Rose, but I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I initially had no idea that I was going to go AU with it, but somehow, in two days, two-thirds of the vid just came pouring out.

And goodness, I missed vidding Doctor/Rose. The last pure D/R vid I did was back in May. MAY!

This vid was originally intended for CTV #5 at vortexchallenge, which was to vid a song from the year you graduated. I wasn't familiar with the song, but I did find that it was made a bit more popular on the There's Something About Mary soundtrack.

Yesterday, I went to Borders after lunch with some friends on the off chance I might see the Doctor Who book, The Nightmare of Black Island, which humansrsuperior recently reviewed. No dice. I only saw the Ten/Martha book about Zygons, which I wasn't too keen on picking up.

But today, after picking up the last of my tips (*sniff*), I went to another Borders. I looked in the sci-fi section, and again, all I saw on the shelf were the Martha books. I really wanted The Nightmare of Black Island, so I walked away from that section a bit disappointed.

And then I turned the corner.

There was a whole end-cap with Doctor Who books and magazines, including the coveted Ten/Rose book I so wanted.

I also looked through the Doctor Who magazines, but they didn't have the issue I wanted featuring the pic in my current icon with Ten, Martha, and Jack.

Then I went to the magazines section of the store. Saw another Doctor Who magazine issue I didn't really want, but sitting right next to it, I saw a Starburst magazine with a Doctor Who special featuring all of Season 3. :O

I ended up spending about half the tips I picked up today.

F-list, you are a bad influence.

To save on shipping, jagwriter78 had some goodies sent to me instead. Three Tens, a Rose, a K-9, and Sonic Screwdriver. :D
