Am I the only one?
About Torchwood 2x13, I wasn't impressed.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I honestly wasn't that emotional as so many others seem to be about tonight's episode. I cried more watching last week's amazing Ashes to Ashes finale than I did for this pathetic excuse for drama. I think it was because all season long, they built up the Owen/Tosh relationship, so I just knew there was going to be something major to bring that down. I hate seeing them go, but I'm not really sad over it. Their deaths weren't all that shocking. Plus, I never really felt much of anything for any of the characters on Torchwood. Well, except maybe Rhys. Now if HE were the one to go tonight, THAT would've killed me.

As for the rest of the episode, Gray's motivation for causing Jack all that pain was completely unconvincing. Don't tell me how Gray suffered. Show me, and I'll believe it more.

And Captain John wasn't nearly as fun as he was in the first episode of the season.

Overall, while this season has been more entertaining, I think the S1 finale was immensely more satisfying compared to this one.

Word on the rocktasticness of the A2A finale and the S1 TW finale. Gray is a little bitch.

So, did you actually like tonight's episode of TW? I sure as hell hope BSG takes this bad taste out of my mouth.

There were definite positives in it, so I will choose to like those. But compared to "End of Days" it's not as emotionally impressive, which is an odd thing to say since two main characters died. I just hated Gray quite a lot.

BSG on the other hand...WOW.

There were some positives (Burn Gorman and Naoko Mori played out that scene beautifully given what they had), but it certainly wasn't enough to outweigh all the things I didn't like about the episode.

BSG on the other hand...WOW.

Good to know. ;)

My positives were Gwen, Rhys & PC Andy, Tosh, and certain aspects of Owen. Other then that, no. But these positives were like really positive, so I'll focus on them.

Well, I must say when Rhys and Andy shut out the Weevils, I was expecting one of them to lurch inside and kill Rhys. Totally. That would have sent me in total shock. When Gwen left him alone at the police station without even kissing him goodbye, I was prepared for Rhys to die. So it kinda was a total turn around of events that Owen and Tosh died. Owen I was prepared for with the reactor and all cause it made sense but not Tosh. Not at all.

On a side note, what was with the stupid Death Men in the server building? I found that totally odd. Owen's "Hoixy" on the other hand.....

I've not even seen it yet and I know I won't be upset. Honestly, I'm more disappointed this season. It had such hope and it really tried last year. With season two, I feel it failed to keep trying. It's become my show I watch in hopes of really good moments, not really good episodes.

I haven't quite given up yet on the show. There are still episodes that keep me wanting more. I guess now we'll just have to wait until next season.

I'm actually refusing to watch Torchwood at the moment. I haven't for the last four episodes. Eventually I will because I have vids that need the shots, but the whole show has been such a letdown. I was so excited about this 2nd season (because Russell T Davies wasn't writing any of it) and it completely disappointed me in every way.

Compared to some of the awesome we're getting now, it's not even worth it anymore.

Okay. I know. that wasn't particularly 'up' of me...
